The night was warm and i slept with my sleeping bag open. Angelina froze in her tent. This day we didn’t see a single person in the anaconda pintler wilderness. We did 3 passes each about 1000 feet climb. Water is good and the landscape amazing. Forests, granite mountains, big boulders and lakes everywhere. We took our lunch break at a big lake and went swimming in the ice cold water. So the lunch break got pretty long and we didn’t do as many miles as expected. With a lot of talking we made it to johnson lake. We went into the water again, watched a nice sunset and had dinner. I made some couscous with bacon, cheese and butter. We cowboy camped since the night was clear. We are getting close to full moon.
