Cdt day 17
Today i woke up late at 7:40 in a nice warm motel room. However i had to get up and out in order to spray my clothes with permithrin, bug protection. I did that got back in amd slept even more. Around 10 i woke up again and had to get my stuff going. Pack up everything, load the mobile phone and have a shower. When I was sitting on the floor with my phone and waiting for my shirt to dry Angelina came by. she was heading over to yseman. They are heading out. I planned on going out too and skip the zero day. So I called my family back home and then headed over to yseman and Angelina. We made our way to the post office and i send some maps to sula and my bounce box to lima. After a burger we started hitching back to Rogers pass. For a while no car stopped, then a couple stopped and hooked us up with some more food. They were super nice but are going the other direction. Something like 2 min later mark stopped. He is from Helena and just did the detour to drop us of at rogers pass. Nice. During the drive we had some nice talk about hunting hiking and grizzlies. The guy in west glacier actually died because of the impact crashing into a 300kg bear and broke his neck. So it was no bear a attack but a mountain biker attack. Marc invited us to his house and some barbequeue when we get to helena and to pick us up from the pass. Awesome. We are so looking forward to it. Trail magic in its best way. We then climbed up to the divide. Yseman and Angelina were cursing the amount of water they were carrying. Yseman carried 5l for 12 miles in the afternoon. I just had 1l which was more than enough. After a lot of steep and straight ups and downs we reached flesher pass were there is a stream and some flat spots. And tada a water cash with some goodies (cliff bars ). Nice. We picked some water and camped on a hill. There were distant thunderstorms and just when i finnished my ramen and got back to the tent the rain started. During the night it rained and there were more thunderstorms. Yseman was up and worried about those. Putting his poles away from his tent. I just slept like a baby.
